Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Pharmacy Leader in Cambridge, MA to oversee Atrius Health site pharmacy operations. You will manage daily activities, ensure safe dispensing, and drive performance while maintaining regulatory compliance and budget controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians and leadership in achieving high-quality patient care. The position requires a PharmD or PharmD/BS, MA licensure, and strong knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Pharmacy; PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Licensed pharmacist in MA with active MA license
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the daily operations of the department and prioritizes direction to ensure pharmacy success.
• Ensures safe and accurate dispensing of all prescriptions and OTCs with patient counseling.
• Develops and monitors department budget, cost of goods sold, and profit margins.
• Contributes to growth, improves site and team performance, and drives change.
• Mentors staff and promotes engagement and development.
• Oversees pharmacy staff performance and coaching, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Supports specialty pharmacy initiatives and interdepartmental collaboration.
