Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy within policy and regulatory guidelines; ensure on-time task completion.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle discipline and termination decisions as needed.
• Maintain and apply knowledge of asset protection; ensure security and compliance with company policies.
