Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in delivering patient care and processing prescriptions in a retail setting. You will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and non-clinical tasks under supervision.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and compliance with state and federal laws. Eligible candidates will have PTCB/ExCPT certification, at least one year of experience, and a willingness to obtain

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
One year work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, data entry, preparation and verification of medications under supervision.
Handle non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure accurate prescription processing and records.
Lead training, coaching and performance management of technicians and supervise supports staff.
Maintain inventory, ensure compliance with policies, and support vaccine and health service offerings.
