Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy.
• Licensed pharmacist without restrictions in the practicing state.
• Minimum 3 years' retail pharmacy experience.
• Clinical/disease state management experience is preferred.
• Experience managing pharmacy staff.
• Commitment to culturally diverse patient communities.
• Strong team and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure excellent customer service to all pharmacy staff and patients.
• Develop, implement and monitor daily procedures and workflows within the pharmacy.
• Manage pharmacy staff to include hiring and training of pharmacy personnel.
• Evaluate pharmacy staff performance, providing feedback or disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Ensure the pharmacy provides appropriate counseling to all patients.
• Ensure quality assurance, accuracy, and safety of medications dispensed and claim submissions.
