Qualifications

• Immunization Certification.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must submit to DL Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Registers with state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Oversees compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Responsible for the entire operation of the pharmacy department to achieve service levels and financial goals.
• Responsible for managing pharmacy support personnel functions, including performance reviews.
• Guides and trains pharmacy associates and ensures training completion.
• Ensures completion of company required training by all pharmacy associates.
• Participates in patient centered services including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsels patients and medical providers regarding drugs, dosage, interactions and side effects.
• Maintains continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains department facilities in line with legal and company standards.
