Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the supervising pharmacist with triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions to patients in Vermont. The role includes inventory management and third-party receivables, and helping with staff training and hiring audits.

The candidate will support the pharmacy team in everyday workflow from data entry to customer pickup, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient care standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, or current enrollment.
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher.
• Vermont registration as Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephones.
• Pharmacy tech tasks: dispensing, data entry, adjudication workflow.
• Inventory management including ordering, receiving, cycle counts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Learn and operate the pharmacy management system and POS system; follow instructions.
• Support QA policies and patient care programs; maintain cash controls.
