Responsibilities

  • Handle the distribution process of all Rx & OTC packages created in the Delivery system across zones or routes.
  • Organize the work area to ensure correct distribution of packages for each route and identification.
  • Assist in keeping Office Clerks stocked with empty boxes for package creation.
  • Assist in picking OTCs when available at the OTC station area.
  • Collect Rx checked by pharmacists and transport to the Office Clerk station.
  • Scan all OTC packages in the Delivery area.
  • Suggest process improvements and teamwork enhancements.
  • Report any issues to Supervisor/Manager during the shift.
  • Operate material-handling equipment safely per procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and operational strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Description
RESUMEN DE LA POSICION:

El Asistente de Oficina de Farmacia asiste en la operación general de la farmacia y es responsable de la correcta organización de los medicamentos y suministros, así como de la rotación y control de inventario de los productos.

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:
  • Manejar el proceso de distribución de todos los paquetes (Rx y OTC) que ya han sido creados en el sistema de entrega a través de las diferentes zonas o rutas.
  • Organizar adecuadamente su área para garantizar la correcta distribución de los paquetes para cada ruta, colocando las cajas según el número de rutas y su respectiva identificación.
  • Mantener a los Asistentes de Oficina que están en el rol de crear los paquetes en el sistema abastecidos con cajas vacías.
  • Asistir en la recolección de OTCs una vez que estén disponibles en el área de recogida de la estación OTC.
  • Ayudar a recolectar los Rx ya verificados por los farmacéuticos y llevarlos a la estación designada del Auxiliar de Oficina.
  • Participar en el escaneo de todos los paquetes OTC una vez en el área de entrega.
  • Contribuir con propuestas de mejora de procesos e interacciones entre el equipo.
  • Informar a su Supervisor o Gerente sobre cualquier eventualidad o anomalía durante la jornada laboral.
  • Operar equipos de manejo de materiales de manera segura y eficiente según los procedimientos establecidos según sea necesario.
  • Cumplir y seguir todas las políticas y procedimientos aplicables de la empresa y regulaciones gubernamentales.
  • Asegurar la conservación y confidencialidad de la información y estrategias operativas.
  • Realizar otras tareas según sean asignadas.
CALIFICACIONES:
  • Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.
  • Al menos un (1) año de experiencia administrativa en manufactura, almacén o farmacia.
  • Proactivo y capaz de trabajar bien de forma independiente y en equipo.
  • Actitud profesional y positiva, con fuerte ética de trabajo y disposición para el aprendizaje continuo.
  • Sólida capacidad para manejar información confidencial de manera apropiada e íntegra.
  • Altamente organizado, con fuertes habilidades de gestión del tiempo y de proyectos.
  • Flexibilidad para trabajar fines de semana, noches y días festivos según las necesidades de la operación.
  • Bilingüe (inglés/español) es una ventaja.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Office Clerk assists in the general operation of the pharmacy and is responsible for the proper organization of the medications and supplies as well as rotation and inventory control of products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Handle the distribution process of all the packages (Rx & OTC) that have already been created in the Delivery system through the different zones or routes.
  • Properly organizes his area to guarantee the correct distribution of the packages for each route, placing the boxes according to the number of routes, as well as their respective identification.
  • Keep Office Clerks that are in the role of creating the package to the system supplied with empty boxes.
  • Assist in picking up OTCs once they are available in the OTC station pick up area.
  • Help collect the Rx already checked by the pharmacists and take them to the designated Office Clerk station.
  • Participate in carrying out the scanner of all OTC packages once in the Delivery area.
  • Assist in the contribution of proposals and process improvements and interactions between the team.
  • Inform your Supervisor or Manager about any eventuality or anomaly during working day.
  • Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures as required.
  • Adhere and follow all applicable company policies and procedures and government regulations.
  • Ensure the safe keeping and confidentiality of information and operational strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of clerical experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or pharmacy.
  • Proactive and have the ability to work well independently and as a team.
  • Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a continuous learner.
  • Solid ability to handle confidential information appropriately and with integrity.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required by the need of the operation.
