Job Summary

Coordinate with the Pharmacist to support clinical investigational drug trials, ensuring accurate dispensing and performing cross-functional duties. May serve as a resource for pharmacy-related questions.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Understand study protocols and pharmacy manual requirements.
2. Review protocols and investigator’s brochures for clinical trials.
3. Ensure access to studies via IWRS/IVRS, IRT, SBIR, as protocol requires.
4. Monitor daily pharmacy activities for protocol adherence.
5. Prepare and dispense investigational drugs per IRB-approved protocols.
6. Attend training for new studies.
7. Organize communication and documentation for each study.
8. Maintain accurate IP logs and records.
9. Review source documents for accuracy.
10. Ensure proper storage of investigational drugs and monitor storage conditions.
11. Communicate discrepancies or violations to the study team.
12. Participate in meetings and training sessions.
13. Adhere to FDA, ICH, GCP, and company guidelines.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Clinical research experience or current nursing license without disciplinary actions.
• Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated and independent work capability.
• Ability to perform IP and pharmacy tasks relevant to licensure and training.

Working Conditions

• Indoor clinical environment.
• Physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, walking; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Scheduled work attendance is essential.
• On-site work arrangement.
