Job summary

ChenMed seeks a Medication Technician to help run the medication room, label and deliver medications under the dispensing provider’s supervision, and support patients and families in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You’ll manage inventory, refills, insurance information, and filing, collaborate with doctors and staff, and may travel nationwide for training and support as needed. A high school diploma and at least one year of pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Some knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and delivering medications under direct supervision of dispensing provider.
• Prepare medications for provider dispensing per prescription.
• Process daily refills and stock drugs.
• Complete pharmacy reports such as inventory and expired meds.
• Maintain updated filing system and assist with insurance and billing information.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Perform duties as assigned by the manager.
