Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in district states.
• Pharmacist degree (BS in Pharmacy or PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, software systems, and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing demonstrating knowledge of applicable controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine use, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, company policies, and standards; oversees workflow procedures and staff scheduling.
• Implements Good Faith Dispensing policy with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to define and develop new strategic business opportunities.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems, supports staff with technology, and improves productivity.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and handles third-party audits.
• Follows up with providers for dosage, refills, interactions, and alternatives.
• Performs immunizations and clinical wellness services.
• Partners with centralized support for patient registration and reviews.
• Maintains maintenance and improvement of the pharmacy department.
• Prepares and submits records and documentation to authorities.
