Job summary

Fred Meyer in Portland, OR seeks a pharmacist leader responsible for all aspects of pharmacy practice and financial performance of the department. You will monitor budgets, train staff, optimize prescription pricing and inventory, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with laws and corporate policies.

You'll collaborate with Kroger and the broader pharmacy team, support clinical services, and contribute to growth through continuous improvement and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD from a U.S. accredited school.
• 2+ years of related retail pharmacy experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age and licensed in good standing.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• willingness to continue education and participate in clinical programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy practice in alignment with state/federal laws and corporate policies.
• Oversee budget, pricing, inventory, and generics utilization.
• Train and develop pharmacy staff and supervise workflow.
• Provide excellent customer service and support for clinical services.
• Collaborate with leadership to achieve department goals and cost controls.
