Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, software systems and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medications, side effects, interactions, and patient information privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications in compliance with regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, roles, and staff performance; ensures efficiency and accuracy.
• Develops relationships with local medical providers and expands health and wellness offerings in the community.
