St Johns Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge to supervise the clinic’s in-house pharmacy, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead daily dispensing operations. The role emphasizes strategic initiatives, staff leadership, and patient-focused service in a retail pharmacy setting.

The position requires PharmD or Bachelor in Pharmacy, California licensure, and at least three years in a retail pharmacy; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree (PharmD or Bachelor) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Registered/licensed by the California Board of Pharmacy, current and clear license.
• Prior experience as a pharmacist-in-Charge/Manager or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years of pharmacist experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Clinical expertise in specialty pharmacy desirable, HIV and Hepatitis B & C preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic in-house pharmacy operations and staff.
• Develop and implement pharmacy strategic initiatives to grow the business.
• Supervise drug distribution, education, and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel patients, verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Manage inventory and oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Ensure 340B program compliance and reporting.
