Job summary

ReNue RX in Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge to supervise pharmacy operations and staff within a clinical setting. The role ensures accurate dispensing, compliance with state laws, and effective collaboration with medical staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a Pharm.D. with ACPE accreditation, possess active Texas licensure, and bring leadership experience to drive profitability and patient-focused service. Training may be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in the state you are applying for.
• Pharmacy management experience preferred but not required.
• APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate or equivalent.
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fill new prescriptions and refills using various forms of compliance packaging.
• Manage inventory controls and ensure proper stock levels.
• Oversee storage and designation of sample medications and patient assistance program meds.
• Maintain professional relationships with medical staff and clinic personnel as the primary pharmacy liaison.
• Provide drug consultation to patients and clinic staff as needed.
• Communicate with physicians to clarify prescriptions, insurance, or prior authorizations.
• Oversee controlled substance logs and inventory.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure certifications are active and in good standing.
• Monitor revenue, perform gross margin analysis, and generate reports for management.
• Sign and retain documentation as Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist of Record.
• Ensure DEA compliance and participate in clinic meetings.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance feedback; manage time off and payroll procedures.
• Identify and pursue new accounts and partnerships; manage accounts payable.
• Coordinate monthly marketing events and quarterly training sessions.
• Ensure timely prescription processing for patients.
