Indiana University Health in Avon, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our hospital-based pharmacy operations on the West Hospital campus. You will oversee daily operations and collaborate with clinicians to support patient care and medication safety.
This on-site role requires Indiana licensure, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and 5–7 years of pharmacist experience, with leadership preference. Responsibilities include inventory management and quality improvement initiatives.

Exciting opportunity to lead a health system-basedretailpharmacyoperation within IU Health Metro Region. This hospital-basedretailpharmacyis located within IU HealthWestHospital and supports the patient and employee needs for thegrowingcampusin Avon, IN. Inaddition to overseeing daily operations and overallpharmacyperformance, thePharmacyManagerwill work withpharmacyand hospital leadership to develop, implement, and enhance services to meet the unique needs of patients as well as patient care services provided within the facilities including Meds in Hand program to support transition of care for patients discharging. Additional ability to collaborate with peerpharmacymanagers across the state through the IU HealthRetailPharmacyNetwork.
Oversees and coordinate the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and its staff. Provides comprehensive medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Acts in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals in the responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Is responsible for assisting the pharmacy director with preparing and performing all activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. Assists the Director in complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Will assists in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Responsible for inventory management and the ongoing financial performance of the pharmacy.
This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift with availability to round to evenings and weekends. Retail experience is required and preference to individuals with previous leadership experience.
