Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately, maintain strong patient relationships, and lead the pharmacy team with integrity.

You will mentor technicians, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and provide clinical services such as immunizations where allowed, contributing to exceptional patient care and community health.

Qualifications

• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana) Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and mentor them to grow the business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Comply with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks.
• Listen to patients and resolve needs; provide customer service.
• In absence of pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
