We are looking to hire a Laboratory Assistant in the pharmaceutical industry! This role will support both R&D and QC laboratories that perform testing for pharmaceutical products. You will be helping to make laboratory solutions and reagents, and helping to keep track of the stock as they get used in the different labs. You may also help in making the different testing kits for the lab, helping with orders, weighing and restocking raw materials, and doing documentation.

An ideal candidate will come from one of the following backgrounds:

• Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• OR Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in a scientific field
  
  

Shift: 10:30pm - 7am, Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Track supplies that are used for the labs including: glassware, solutions and reagents, testing kits, chemicals, and other inventory as necessary.
• Put together test kits and worksheets.
• Make solutions and reagents for the lab.
• Clean glassware.
• Document all activities in the computer system.
• Perform cleaning validation and verifications.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates may come from a variety of different backgrounds, primarily including the following:
• Entry-Level with a Bachelors in a Science (would consider both recent graduates and candidates with degrees that haven't been in a lab for a few years).
• Entry-Level with an Associates Degree in a science.
• Candidates with Pharmacy Technician or similar experience.
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
