Job description

The Pharmacy Lab Technician will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.

This position is part of the Operations department in Boca Raton, FL and will be located on-site.

You will be part of the Southeast Operations team and report directly to the Southeast Operations Leader. If you thrive in a fast-paced, attention to detail role and want to work to empower the evolution of modern medicine-read on.

In this role, you will have to opportunity to:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
• Perform medication inventory management and restocking.
• Prepare non-sterile compounded products.
• Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications.
• Maintain and update patient records as necessary.
• Work with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication administration.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must be licensed by the Florida State board of Pharmacy
• Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Understanding of different medication administration routes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
