Job summary

Virginia Oncology Associates in Suffolk seeks a Lynx Inventory Management Admixture Tech to support our central admixture site. In this in-person, full-time role, you will manage drug inventory, process orders via the Lynx cabinet system, and ensure compliance with guidelines while coordinating with clinical sites.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree, 2 years in procurement/inventory or pharmacy tech experience, and may have IV certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Two years of procurement/inventory or pharmacy tech experience.
• IV certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Lynx, Epic, Pyxis,Omnicellis preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Board preferred.
• Willing to travel between offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical inventory purchasing at central admixture site.
• Maintains inventory levels for daily central admixture support.
• Keying/processing patient orders using Lynx cabinet system.
• Ensure compliance with ordering practices and state/federal guidelines.
• Communicate inventory needs with clinical sites and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive/check in inventory and monitor accuracy.
• Manage inventory levels and turnover within budget.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve issues and expedites delivery.
