Responsibilities

Oversees pharmaceutical inventories by ordering, receiving, and delivering pharmaceuticals and related supplies to assigned patient care areas.
Manages inventory levels in Central Pharmacy and Stockroom according to PAR levels.
Receives shipments, unpacks, checks stock against purchase orders, and resolves discrepancies; ensures pricing aligns with contracts.
Delivers floor stock drugs and supplies to nursing units and cost centers.
Repackages or restocks inventory in I.V. room and pharmacy areas as needed.
Processes requisitions from clinics and hospital units and delivers items to the appropriate cost center.
Maintains neat and orderly stock room and shelf areas.
Identifies about-to-expire medications and arranges for returns to vendors for credit.
Rotates inventory monthly and handles inbound inquiries about inventory procedures.
