Job summary

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience and working knowledge in pharmacy procedures and computerized pharmacy operations
• previous experience with a variety of software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email
• ability to maintain financial records

• knowledge of medical terminology
• ability to organize work efficiently by tasks and to perform and maintain multiple tasks at once
• ability to negotiate and resolve issues with others and provide information to groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Education and or training in veterinary pharmacy procedures, pharmacology, biology, and math desirable
• previous experience in purchasing and inventory procedures desirable
• previous human and/or veterinary clinical experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) desired
