Job summary

Children’s Nebraska seeks a Pharmacy Technician purchaser to manage inventory, procurement and billing within a pediatric pharmacy setting. You will build vendor relationships, maintain stock levels, and coordinate invoices and reimbursements under Nebraska state guidelines.

Responsibilities include processing purchases, audits, and pricing updates, with emphasis on accuracy and timely communication with the pharmacy leadership team. A strong background in retail pharmacy operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years prior experience in retail pharmacy services.
• 1-3 years purchasing/inventory control experience preferred.
• 1-3 years Home Health billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Process monthly billing charges and coordinate with finance.
• Review invoices and verify pricing and terms.
• Coordinate returns and recalls; ensure proper credit.
• Assist with pricing updates and NDC changes.
• Communicate shortages and pricing updates with pharmacy management.
• Perform Home Health billing review related duties.
