Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Buyer to manage inventory, purchase supplies and medications, and support 340B program operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data collection, billing, and collaboration with the Pharmacy Director and hospital staff to ensure uninterrupted pharmaceutical and supply services.

Qualifications

• High School Degree, GED or equivalent.
• Certified National Pharmacy Technician and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy/hospital experience preferred.
• Familiar with automated dispensing, Pyxis preferable.
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic functions.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and multitask.
• Proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory to ensure continuous supplies with minimal interruption.
• Pharmaceutical purchasing and contract analysis.
• Providing data for monthly/yearly financial statements and reports.
• Accurate and timely billing entry.
• Coordinates record maintenance and storage.
• Supports system-wide 340B program, including Sentry system maintenance.
• Performs clerical duties and data collection to support department activities.
