Job summary

Children's National Hospital is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy, on-hand balances, receiving, and storage in our Pharmacy Services department in Washington, DC.

You will reconcile discrepancies, assist the Warehouse Buyer and Distribution Manager, and generate routine inventory reports while ensuring ERP data integrity in Peoplesoft. Minimum 2 years related experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and on-hand balances; adjust records as needed.
• Assist with data entry and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support inventory Buyer in placing orders and resolving purchasing issues.
• Reconcile quantity on hand and unit of measure discrepancies.
• Maintain day-to-day inventory systems and locations.
