Responsibilities

• Performs the essential functions of Pharmacy Technician I.
• Performs the essential functions of Pharmacy Technician II.
• Trains to solve problems in the medication-use process for patients and the organization.
• Engages in quality improvement activities to improve patient care, the medication-use process, and pharmacy operations.
• Trains to assume responsibility for the medication-use process, following policy and laws.
• Learns to assess drug information and provide information to patients, other health care professionals, and peers.
