Job summary

CVS Health is inviting US non-accredited foreign graduates to participate in a structured internship program designed to translate didactic pharmacy education into real-world practice. Trainees work under a preceptor, completing a learning plan to develop knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities while preparing for pharmacist licensure exams.

Participants gain hands-on experience in a CVS pharmacy, focusing on safe dispensing, patient care, and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

FPGEC certification is required.
Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of internship completion.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in patient interactions and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
Follow SOPs and best practices; communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Support immunizations and other pharmacist services where allowed by state regulations.
Travel to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs.
