Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate to train in our pharmacy operations and become ready for a Pharmacist role. After passing FPGEE and TOEFL, you’ll complete internship hours and prepare for licensure exams under a preceptor’s guidance.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, support patient care, and contribute to a safe, inclusive pharmacy team while traveling between stores as needed. This is a full-time path with strong growth prospects.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
• FPGEC certification
• Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours. Failure to complete required US Intern hours within 18 months, or to obtain Pharmacist licensure as prescribed, will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions
• Counsel patients and collect medical history when appropriate under supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions and coordinate with prescribers when allowed
• Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy staff while sharing best practices
• Complete basic inventory and cycle counts per policy
• Support immunizations and offsite clinics as trained and licensed
• Travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient safety
• Deliver additional patient health care services where allowed by law
