Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• Pharmacy Tech in Training - Board of Pharmacy for Pre-Pharmacy students within 30 Days or
• Pharmacy Intern - Board of Pharmacy for Pharmacy Interns (P1 - P4) within 30 Days.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s Pre-admitted or officially accepted into an accredited College of Pharmacy program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, input and/or prepare labels and packages for inpatient or outpatient orders.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, customers and colleagues to promote patient safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications, calculations and regulations to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform clerical tasks such as billing and inventory to support the medication distribution.
• Assist with collection and maintenance of records for accreditation requirements as needed.
