St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center, part of Catholic Health, invites aspiring pharmacists to join as a Pharmacy Intern. The role offers hands-on experience alongside licensed Pharmacists and supports classroom studies with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• NYS Pharmacy Intern Permit or enrollment in accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Pharmacist with all secondary functions within the Pharmacy department including filling cassettes, bulk preparation of I.V. additives using sterile technique.
• Processing incoming narcotics orders under the auspices of a Pharmacist and/or Supervisor.

Job Details

The Pharmacy Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside our Pharmacists providing valuable experience with flexible scheduling to complement their classroom studies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Pharmacist with all secondary functions within the Pharmacy department including filling cassettes, bulk preparation of I.V. additives using sterile technique
• Processing incoming narcotics orders under the auspices of a Pharmacist and/or Supervisor

Requirements

• NYS Pharmacy Intern Permit
• Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Hospital experience preferred
• Available to work at least two shifts per week, one weeknight evening and one of the weekends (7.5 hour shift).

Salary Range

USD $31.05 - USD $31.05 /Hr.
