Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Operate the pharmacy register, software, and voicemail system.
• Provide enthusiastic customer service in person and over the phone.
• Assist with third-party prescription information and rejected claims.
• Initiate prescription renewal requests to prescribers as permitted by law.
• Understand inventory control procedures, including controlled substances.
• Receive prescriptions and verify information for pickups.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records as required by law.
• Maintain department appearance and cleanliness, stock shelves.
