Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in medical and pharmacy terminology, effects of prescription drugs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Fills and verifies prescriptions.
• Counsels patients about medications and possible interactions.
• Administers immunizations.
• Enters new prescriptions into the system and files paperwork.
• Submits refill requests and handles insurance questions.
• Stock management and shelf integrity according to policies.
• Provides excellent customer service at counter, drive-thru and by phone.
• Collaborates with Pharmacy Manager and other staff.
