Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists in dispensing, patient counseling, and health services under supervision. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and help manage inventory while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required. You will learn pharmacy policy, procedures, and best practices to provide outstanding patient care within Walgreens’ standards.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and entering prescriptions under supervision.
• Engage customers to provide a positive experience and respond to questions.
• Support inventory management and ensure adequate pharmacy supplies.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow quality procedures.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing and company policies.
