Performs dispensing tasks, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and Good Faith Dispensing principles.
Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and proposes improvements to productivity.
Processes insurance claims and follows up with payors and providers.
Provides immunizations and wellness services as part of preventive care.
Analyzes performance data with leadership to optimize operations and inventory.
Engages with local medical community to promote pharmacy services.
