Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert medication counseling, verify prescriptions, and ensure safe, effective drug use for customers. You will support immunization services and preventive care, while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

You will also enhance pharmacy operations, review insurance processes, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and store performance.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy consulting on medication usage and interactions to customers.
• Perform compounding, dispensing, verification and medication management.
• Maintain compliant operations with regulations, policies and workflow optimization.
• Advise on insurance claims processing and resolve issues with providers and payers.
• Deliver immunizations and preventive healthcare services when appropriate.
• Support staff development and training to improve service quality.
