Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and refills to ensure correct use.
• Performs dispensing and verification of prescribed medications in compliance with regulations.
• Supports pharmacy operations, inventory, and staff with procedural improvements.
• Immunizations and preventive health services such as flu shots and diabetes awareness.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and supports staff.
