Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in relevant states within the district within 90 days
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects and interactions while addressing privacy and generic options.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification to ensure correct dispensation.
• Maintains regulatory compliance, supports workflow, and assists in setting procedures for efficient pharmacy operations.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Processes insurance claims, follows up with providers and performs 3rd party audits as needed.
• Delivers preventive care services (immunizations, flu shots, diabetes awareness) and supports patient education.
• Analyzes performance data with management and collaborates with local healthcare providers for community outreach.
