Job summary

Walgreens in Auburn, ME is seeking a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive medication counseling, dispensing, and clinical services. You will ensure safe medication use, advise on drug interactions, and support preventive health services such as immunizations.

You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow, manage inventory, and maintain regulatory compliance while upholding Walgreens standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, safety and interactions.
• Performs compounding, dispensing and medication management as needed.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies and standards.
• Supports opening/closing of the pharmacy and shift changes.
• Assists with workflow optimization, inventory management and KPI reviews.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services to customers.
