Job summary

Raley's is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the Pharmacy Manager in daily store pharmacy operations, focusing on patient-centered care and accurate script processing.

You will assist in immunizations, adherence programs, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

This position requires enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy, and a state Pharmacy Intern license where working.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• State-issued license for Pharmacy Intern in state where working.
• Knowledge of laws governing OTC drugs, pharmacy products and third-party plans.
• Self-motivated with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision under time constraints.
• Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and exceptional service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work.
• Interpersonal skills including relationship-building and conflict resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work different schedules to meet store and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operation of the pharmacy, including customer service, sales, gross margin improvements, inventory purchasing and management.
• Ensures location compliance with local, state, federal laws and company policies.
• Delivers Pharmacy Care programs including immunizations, testing, and adherence platforms under supervision.
• Performs medication therapy management with patients and offers consultations to improve outcomes.
• Supports efficient workflow and helps optimize pharmacy financials and inventory.
• Provides updates to Pharmacy Manager and Store Director on operations.
