Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding medications, interactions, and preventive healthcare services.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations, policies, and Good Faith Dispensing requirements.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge and supports patients and staff with pharmacy technology.
• Inspects and resolves insurance claims, coordinating with providers to prevent denials.
• Delivers immunizations, preventive care, and wellness services to patients.
• Supports manager with staff development, KPI reviews, and inventory management.
• Engages with the local medical community and participates in outreach activities.
