Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will help ensure safe operations, accuracy in patient care, and adherence to regulations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Mobility and ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support safe, effective retail pharmacy operations.
• Contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and engage with patients and caregivers.
• Support inventory management and workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
