Job summary

CVS Health in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team part-time. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver high-quality patient care, support prescription workflow, and participate in patient care programs to promote safe medication use.

Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and contributing to a collaborative team culture

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Patient safety and quality assurance in a Retail Pharmacy setting.
• Pharmacy professional practice and regulatory compliance.
• Customer service and inventory management.
• Workflow management excluding final prescription verification.
