Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to support the retail pharmacy team and help deliver compassionate patient care. The role operates under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to safety, regulatory compliance and service excellence.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and professional development within CVS Health’s patient‑centered approach to health care.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment delivering exceptional patient care.
• Lead with Heart and demonstrate empathy for patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues.
• Support regulatory compliance, quality assurance and inventory management.
• Assist with workflow management and customer service while excluding final prescription verification.
