Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Intern in Atlanta, GA to support pharmacists and learn drug counseling in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help with prescription processing, data entry, and customer service while under supervision.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and informed about products.
• Provide drug counseling and OTC recommendations to customers.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system accurately.
• Dispense medications and contact prescribers’ offices for authorization as needed.
• Process third-party insurance information and communicate with insurance companies when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the department.
• Provide immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
