After completing FPGEE, TOEFL, and internship requirements, candidates prepare for pharmacist licensure while supporting pharmacy operations.

You will learn under a preceptor, complete a structured learning plan, and gain leadership experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment with a focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy must begin US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
• FPGEC certification is required for eligibility
• Pharmacist licensure in the state of employment must be obtained within 120 days of completing US intern hours

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care during interactions at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and collecting patient history to provide optimal care under supervision
• Taking telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarifying prescriptions where allowed by state regulation
• Maintaining coaching and mentorship to pharmacy team members while sharing best practices
• Completing basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership
• Contributing to a high-performing team and remaining flexible for scheduling and store visits as needed

Education

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS

FPGEC certification

Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
