Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-U.S. school of pharmacy required.
• FPGEC certification required upon entry to the program.
• Pharmacist licensure in the posting state within 120 days of internship start.
• Possession or active pursuit of valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Perform safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow areas.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and resolve patient questions and issues.
• Counsel patients and obtain medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state law.
• Coach and mentor pharmacy team members; support continuous improvement.
• Complete inventory activities and maintain stock integrity.
