Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will support safety, regulatory adherence, and workflow in a Retail Pharmacy setting.

The role involves patient safety, quality assurance, inventory management, and a focus on compassionate service. Strong communication skills and ongoing licensure are required, with nights and weekends expected.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must obtain or be in process of obtaining intern/tech licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and effective Retail Pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Handle patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance and customer service.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management excluding final verification.
• Participate in training and adhere to state guidelines and timelines.
