Job summary

Woodmark Pharmacy of NY is seeking Pharmacy Interns for per diem roles. Pay rate ranges from $15.70 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities to earn more with experience. You must be currently enrolled in a pharmacy school program and will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities include inputting medication orders, printing labels, and verifying medications for accuracy. Strong communication and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program to become a licensed Pharmacist.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by individual state.
• English language proficiency required at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of the pharmacy software package.
• Print labels and delivery sheets to allow technicians to fill orders.
• Check final prepared medications for accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Provide drug information in an easily understood manner as requested by facility staff.
• Research and clarify medication orders that are incomplete or unclear.

Education
