OhioHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Intern for Marion General Hospital on a part-time, as-needed basis. The candidate must be enrolled in a pharmacy school and will work under a licensed pharmacist to gain licensure-ready experience.
Responsibilities include labeling, order review under supervision, billing support, inventory maintenance, and interprofessional communication. The role requires active intern licensure and a high school diploma, with training available on site.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, performs any or all of the functions of the department as assigned according to established procedure. Based on ability, experience, and performance, performs the increasingly judgmental activities of a pharmacist pursuant to State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Under supervision, gains the practical experience necessary to function competently and effectively upon licensure.
Interns must be actively pursuing licensure as a Registered Pharmacist through completion of academic and/or post-graduate experience requirements. These qualifications can be met by active enrollment in a College of Pharmacy, or for international pharmacy graduates, satisfactorily passed the FPGEE and the TSE or TOEFL-ibt (these are completed through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy [NABP]). All interns must have an active intern license prior to employment.
