Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will help maintain a safe, efficient pharmacy environment and deliver compassionate care to patients.

You will support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance while engaging in inventory and workflow management, contributing to our mission of improving health care for our patients.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and adheres to pharmacy professional practice.
• Assist with regulatory requirements and quality assurance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at the point of care.
• Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support patient care programs.
