Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Must be registered as Pharmacy Intern with the State of Iowa.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Completion of Iowa HHS Mandatory Reporter training within three months.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Provides training, mentoring, and ongoing support to new employees and assists in directing workflow to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Guides intern personnel in their duties and supports quality assurance and adherence to standards.
• Monitors intern workflow and updates training materials and workflows for operational effectiveness.
• Coordinates intern staffing with Intern Manager or scheduler to ensure coverage and workload balance.
• Serves as a resource for staff questions and maintains knowledge of processes for pharmacy interns.
• Organizes and supports intern participation in department projects and initiatives.
• Schedules and facilitates regular meetings with intern staff and leadership for communication and alignment of goals.
